The Sadhu Foundation was established on Guru Purnima Day, 2023. The Sadhu Foundation is an initiative to serve sadhus and spiritual practitioners with food, shelter, medical aid, and other basic needs for those who are in need.

The Sadhu Foundation has the vision to serve "Sadhu Seva", those who have renounced the world to focus on their spiritual practices for self-realization. "Sadhu Sangam" is a small initiative to help the young generation realize their inner virtue. "Sadhu Prasad" is also an inspiration to offer Prasad to those in need.

This seva is carried out in memory of our beloved Gurudev, Sri Satguru Thuli Baba, under the guidance of our Acharyas.

In Hinduism, "SADHU" is a term that refers to a Virtuous Holy Person who is exclusively focused on Truth or Self-consciousness, especially one who has Freed Himself from the Attachments of "I" and "Mine", and lives in Eternal Bliss with Infinite Patience and Unconditional love.

"SEVA" is the concept of service to God and/or humanity without the expectation of return. According to Hindu scriptures, seva is seen as the highest form of dharma (righteousness). Seva has been said to provide good karma, which facilitates the atma (soul) to attain moksha (emancipation from the cycle of death and rebirth), which is self-realization.

Gurudev used to say the guru's grace dispels the darkness of ignorance. And also, Gurudev explained seva as:

Once the student is determined, the scriptures guide him, the right master appears to him, and if he is willing to serve the guru, the twelve years of service are called "Sarvanga Seva", which means a disciple serves a guru wholeheartedly, earning knowledge about Detachment, compassion, Determination, kindness, and Humility.

While the disciple is qualified, the guru starts to teach him with infinite Grace and Love. It would have taken at least six years for a true disciple to realize that the teachings are recognized as "Satbhava Seva". Which means listening to the Guru's teachings with great devotion and faith.

With great patience and unshakable zeal, for about eighteen years of the Guru's teachings, the valiant disciple will gain knowledge. According to the disciple's longing and Earnestness, Sri Satguru begins the teachings of Self-realization. This is contemplated as "Athmabhava Seva".

According to our Vedas, service to the Guru will dry up the mire of one's sins, ignite the light of knowledge, and take one smoothly across the ocean of sorrows and fears. Sadhus are those who Enrich the culture, morale, and spiritual depth of our Indian heritage.

Together, we are making our tiny effort to serve the sadhus with devotion and humility, along with your blessings and support.
